A weekend of Outreach and connection in Eswatini

On Saturday, March 1st, Sr. Evarlyne, Sr. Rosa, Jabulile Nkambule(Social outreach officer) and Babe Ngozo (Catechist) made a heartfelt visit to a family from one of St. Philip's outstations, known as St. Faustina Kowalska. This visit was not only a chance to connect with the family but also an opportunity to share the word of God and our faith.

The visit began with the serene and reflective prayer of the Holy Rosary, a cherished tradition that brought the family and the sisters closer in faith and contemplation. Following the Rosary, Sr. Rosa distributed Holy Communion, offering a moment of grace and spiritual nourishment to those present. The visit concluded with some engaging and warm conversations, where the family and the sisters exchanged stories, thoughts, and laughter, strengthening their bond and community spirit.

Another visit happened on Monday, March 3rd, the sisters continued their mission of compassion and outreach by visiting friends at the Malindza refugee camp. This visit was marked by a spirit of kindness and solidarity with those in need.

Sr. Evarlyne and Sr. Rosa found the visit to be incredibly rewarding. It was an opportunity to offer companionship and support to the residents of the camp, many of whom are facing challenging circumstances. Through their visit, the sisters not only provided immediate support but also fostered a sense of community and connection, offering hope and encouragement to all they met.
