The Heart of Mary youth group is divided into two groups, the first group is made up of children from the age of 4- 14 years old(Primary school level) and the other group is made up of children from the age of 14 - 18 years old(High school level). For the primary school children, they usually begin their day with a playful morning session. This session allows the children to engage in recreational activities, fostering togetherness and building teamwork. Following the play session, they transitioned into a catechism class, where they explore various aspects of faith and spirituality.
The older children (High schoolers), they usually focus on creating rosaries. This first-hand activity not only teaches them valuable skills but also provides an opportunity to reflect on their personal faith journeys. While making the rosaries, they also discuss the significance of Mary and praying the rosary.
“These activities are part of our ongoing efforts to engage the youth in meaningful ways, nurturing both their spiritual and social development. The Heart of Mary group is an integral part of our parish community, and their enthusiasm and dedication are truly inspiring.”
